The name refers to Dedvlei valley ( from English dead, and Afrikaans vlei, a lake or marsh in a valley between the dunes ), located near the more famous salt pan of Sossusvlei, inside the Namib-Naukluft Park in Namibia. 

De V ring is made from solid sterling silver and oxidised

The ring’s outside shows cracks and fractures, but polished in the inside of the ring rail, for a smooth and comfortable fit. The bottom-side is kept open.
